Our Story

In the 90s, the Babalú brand was born in downtown Medellín, with a point of sale and the commercialization of T-shirts. Over time, Enrique Gómez –founder and general manager of the company– envisioned the opportunity to design, manufacture, and market a line of sportswear different from those already on the market; he dreamed of creating garments that highlight the beauty of the athletic woman, with quality, innovative designs, and comfort as his premise. His desire to constantly satisfy the needs of his customers led him to include swimwear, underwear, and cycling apparel in his portfolio.

Ten years later, the Tarrao brand was born, a line of men's underwear aimed at daring men who are not afraid of color and prefer bold prints and designs. From the beginning, its founder wanted this brand to be accessible to everyone and for prices to be affordable for all populations, with the premise of offering excellent quality products at a fair price.

In 2015, once again listening to market needs, the Inizio brand was born, with a line of sportswear for men passionate about a healthy lifestyle, who enjoy their free time with friends and family practicing sports, providing comfort in its designs and guaranteeing quality in each of its garments.
